The library will stay open until 5.30 p.m. from Monday, an hour and a half past the end of the school day. It was asked for by the Class X parents at the last parent-teacher meeting and the staff council agreed to it the following week.
Two members of staff will be on duty. Students staying back must sign the register at the gate on the way in and again on the way out, and the register is checked at 5.30 before the building is locked.
Nothing else changes: the bus timings, the games period and the remedial classes run as they do now.
