Admissions

How to apply

Four steps, about three weeks from form to offer.

The form is free and takes about ten minutes. You will receive an acknowledgement by SMS the same day and a registration number within two working days.

  2. Visit the campus

Weekday mornings, on a normal school day rather than an open day. You will meet the Headmistress or the Vice Principal and may sit in on a lesson.

  3. Interaction and document check

Within 7 days of the visit

For Nursery this is a twenty-minute play session with a teacher, with a parent present, and there is no written test. Bring the birth certificate, address proof, the child’s Aadhaar and four photographs.

  4. Offer and fee payment

Offer in 10 days · pay within 14

Offers go out within ten days. The admission fee and the first term’s fee are payable within two weeks of the offer, by bank transfer or at the school office.

Our promises

What we will not do

Written down so you can hold us to it.

We do not take donations

No capitation fee, no building fund, no “voluntary” contribution at any stage of admission. The fee structure on this website is the entire amount you will pay.

We do not interview children

Nursery admission is by draw of lots, conducted in front of parents. From Class I upwards there is a written test in English, Mathematics and Science, and nothing else.

We do not nominate a bookseller

The book list names the publisher and edition. Buy them wherever you like, including second-hand.

We publish results in full

Including the students who did not clear at the first attempt, and the registered count beside the passed count — not the pass percentage on its own.

Any breach of the above should be reported to the Principal in writing.

Questions

Questions parents ask

What are the school timings?

Classes I to XII run 7:50 a.m. to 2:10 p.m., Monday to Friday, and 7:50 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on alternate Saturdays. Pre-primary runs 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, five days a week.

Is there a written test for Nursery admission?

No. Delhi does not permit a written test or a formal interview for Nursery admission. The twenty-minute session is a play interaction with a teacher, with a parent in the room, and it is not scored.

Do you provide transport to my area?

Fourteen buses run on eleven routes across Rohini, Pitampura, Shalimar Bagh, Prashant Vihar and Sector 3 to 24. Ring the office with your address and we will tell you the nearest stop and the band the fee falls into.

What happens if my child falls behind?

Remedial periods run after school four days a week at no additional charge, and the class teacher telephones the parent rather than sending a note. From Class IX every student has a subject mentor who meets parents twice a term.

Are the fees likely to increase?

They have increased in eight of the last ten years, by between 4% and 9%. Any increase is decided by the School Management Committee and notified in writing before 31 January, so it never appears mid-session.
