Our vision
A neighbourhood school that a family can send three children to across twenty years, and find it recognisably the same place — better equipped, no larger, and still willing to tell them the truth.
Our mission
To teach the CBSE curriculum thoroughly, to keep class sizes small enough that no child is anonymous, and to publish enough about how we operate that a parent can hold us to it.
A parent who hears in July that their child is behind can act. One who hears in February cannot.
Results, fees, staff ratios and incidents — in full, including the years that were not good.
Library, games, art and music periods are not surrendered to revision, in any term.
We decided in 2011 that we would stop reading out marks in class. It took four years for the staff room to agree and one term for the children to stop asking.
