St Mary’s School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education up to Class XII (senior secondary), CBSE Affiliation Number 2730123, School Code 55555. The affiliation was upgraded from secondary in 2004 and was last renewed in 2022 under the Board’s extension scheme; the certificate is below.

The school’s UDISE+ code is 99999999999, allotted by the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi. It is recognised under Section 18(1) of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 — a recognition separate from board affiliation, and the one that actually permits the school to operate.

Questions

Questions about our standing

Is the affiliation permanent?

No CBSE affiliation is permanent. It runs for a fixed term and is renewed on inspection; ours was last renewed in 2022 and runs to 2027. The renewal date and the last inspection outcome are both on the Mandatory Public Disclosure page, not merely asserted here.

What is the difference between the UDISE+ code and the CBSE affiliation number?

The UDISE+ code is issued by the state education department and every school in India has one, whichever board it follows. The CBSE affiliation number and the CBSE school code exist only because we are affiliated to CBSE, and they are two different numbers even though they are often confused for one.
