A word from the Chairman, on forty-one years with no shareholder, and from the Principal, on what an ordinary CBSE school owes a parent.

The society has run this school for forty-one years without taking a rupee out of it. Every surplus has gone back into the campus, and the accounts are audited and open to any parent who asks at the office.
We have turned down three offers to open branch campuses. One good school is harder than four adequate ones, and we would rather do the harder thing.
From the Principal
We are an ordinary CBSE school and we do not apologise for that
I have been at St Mary’s for nineteen years, eleven of them as Principal. In that time the school has grown from 700 students to just over 1,200, and the thing I am most careful about is that it has not grown past the point where the staff know the children.
We are an ordinary CBSE school and we do not apologise for that. We teach the syllabus properly, we run the laboratories and the library every day rather than for inspections, and we tell parents plainly when a child is struggling. Our Class X results last year were a 99.2% pass with a school average of 81.4%; the eight students who did not clear the first attempt were all through by the compartment examination, and we say so on our results page.
If you are considering the school, come and see a normal Tuesday rather than an open day. Ask to sit at the back of a Class VII lesson. That is the only thing that will tell you what you want to know.
